Privacy policy
The Keepbook app does not collect your data. What you enter in it stays on your device and in your own iCloud.
The app
- Keepbook has no accounts to sign up for, no advertising and no analytics.
- The app contains no third-party software that collects data.
- Your accounts and entries are stored on your device.
- Keepbook never connects to your bank.
- We cannot see your register, your balances or your backups.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, Keepbook syncs your register between your devices through your private iCloud database and saves backup files to your iCloud Drive. That data is held by Apple under your Apple Account and the Apple Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, your register and backups stay on the device only.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment. We do not receive your name, your email address or your payment details. Apple gives us sales totals that do not identify you.
Face ID and Touch ID
The lock uses the Face ID, Touch ID or passcode already set up on your device. Keepbook is told only whether the check passed. It never receives your face or fingerprint data.
Files you import or export
Files you import are read on your device. Files you export or print go only where you send them.
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list.
The release sign-up
If you leave your email address on the sign-up page, we save that address and nothing else, and the maker of Keepbook gets a note that you signed up. We use it to send you one message when Keepbook is released, then remove it from the list. Every message has a link to unsubscribe, and you can write to us at any time to be removed sooner.
The list is kept with Resend, the service that sends the message. See the Resend Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share the list.
The sign-up page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a program, is filling in the form. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser to do that. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
This website
getkeepbook.com has no advertising and sets no cookies of its own. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the site.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are opened, from what kind of device, and which site sent the visitor. Cloudflare says it does this without cookies and without following you from one site to another. We see totals, not people. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Children
Keepbook is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date.
